Growing Steps Home Childcare was created from the combination of professional experience and a deep personal conviction. As a mother, and after working for more than two years within the childcare system in the United States, I recognized the need to create a more human, intentional, and nurturing environment for early childhood. I am also a trained psychologist in Colombia, which has shaped my understanding of children’s emotional and developmental needs.
My vision comes from observing that, in large group care settings, essential aspects are often lost, such as individualized attention, nutritional quality, and, most importantly, genuine emotional connection with each child. For this reason, I chose to build a home where care is not just supervision, but respectful guidance within a warm and safe environment.
